About Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce
Incorporated on April 14, 1933, the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce has been serving our community with distinction for more than 80 years. The Chamber is a member driven organization consisting of businesses and individuals who are committed to enhancing and growing a community they truly love and are proud to call home.
Managed by a twelve-member group of area business leaders, the Chamber’s Board of Directors perform essentially a legislative function; they make policy decisions and provide direction for the Chamber. The board represents a cross-section of the business and professional leadership from the community and is elected annually from the membership. The Chamber’s operating budget is developed through membership investments and through a pair of annual major fundraising events: the Annual Dinner & Member Celebration and the Golf Outing.
The return on membership investment is directly linked to member participation and we welcome active engagement in the programs and services provided by the Chamber. The Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce was established in 1922 and has served the community for almost 100 years. Today we serve more than 200 members whose combined efforts provide an active Chamber of Commerce to represent the voice for business and to serve as a resource for residents and visitors as well.
The HACC also offers a variety of programs and services to members to help grow and sustain their business. Our membership is a diverse collection of business leaders and owners representing the commercial, financial, industrial, service and civic organizations and agencies. We represent area businesses from the city of Hartford and surrounding areas such as Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, Watertown, Beaver Dam, Fond du Lac, West Bend, Slinger, Jackson, Menomonee Falls, Grafton and Milwaukee.
